We want to understand your entire health journey. So, we begin with a 60-minute consultation to review previous testing and lab results, discuss lifestyle and nutrition habits, and uncover potential conflicts in your recovery.

Dr. Gurdev Parmar

Co-Founder & Medical Director, Integrated Health Clinic
Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Gurdev Parmar, co-founder and medical director of the Integrated Health Clinic (IHC), is a renowned naturopathic oncologist licensed in both British Columbia, Canada, and Washington State, USA. With extensive experience in integrative cancer care, Dr. Parmar has conducted research on his treatment approach, established locoregional hyperthermia treatment in Canada, and serves as the President of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS).

As the Founder and Dean of Academics of the Integrative Oncology Institute (IOI), Dr. Parmar is dedicated to providing education and training to healthcare professionals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to better serve cancer patients through integrative oncology approaches.

Dr. Erin Rurak

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Erin Rurak, a licensed Naturopathic Physician and graduate of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, has been practicing at the Integrative Health Clinic since 2014. With a strong focus on integrative oncology, women’s health, and disease prevention, Dr. Rurak provides support to patients undergoing cancer treatments and helps them find their ideal health post-treatment. As a certified practitioner through the North American Menopause Society, she combines her expertise in menopause and cancer care to help women with a history of cancer who are struggling with hormonal changes related to their treatments or menopause.

Dr. Sarah Stoles

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Sarah Soles, a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, completed a 2-year residency in naturopathic cancer care at the Integrated Health Clinic after gaining valuable experience in combining naturopathic approaches with conventional cancer treatments during her internship. As an evidence-based practitioner and the Research Director for the Knowledge in Naturopathic Oncology Website, Dr. Soles uses research and laboratory testing to guide her individualized care plans for patients at all stages of their cancer management journey.

Dr. Allana Rinas

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Alanna Rinas, ND, a graduate of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, enjoys a diverse naturopathic practice with a focus on cancer care, anti-aging, hormones, digestive issues, nutrition, and IV therapies. With extensive training and collaboration with Dr. Gurdev Parmar, ND, Dr. Rinas is dedicated to cancer prevention and integrative cancer care, actively working towards becoming a fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) while contributing to the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology and the Pearlz Clinical eBook Series.

Dr. Sarah Denotter

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Sarah Denotter, ND, MSc, is a naturopathic doctor currently completing her residency in naturopathic oncology with Dr. Gurdev Parmar at the Integrated Health Clinic in British Columbia, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON. Dr. Denotter attended naturopathic medical school at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, where she concurrently received her Masters of Science in Nutrition. She is a professional member of the BCND, CAND, and OncANP.

Naturopathic medicine is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. It includes standard pharmaceutical treatments as well as evidence-informed natural therapies, including nutraceuticals, botanical medicine, injection and IV therapies, clinical nutrition, acupuncture, lifestyle counselling, health promotion, and disease prevention.

No, Naturopathic services, including lab testing, are not covered under MSP. However, Naturopathic services are often covered under many extended health plans, so it is important for you to check with your individual providers to clarify coverage.

No, a referral is not required. We simply ask that you give us a call so we can review your particular circumstance and recommend a doctor appropriate to your needs.
