Dr. Sarah Soles, ND
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Sarah Soles completed her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During her internship, she worked extensively with patients on the adjunctive cancer care specialty shift. It was during this time that she learned the immense value of combining naturopathic approaches with conventional cancer treatments. Dr. Soles went on to complete a 2-year residency in naturopathic cancer care at the Integrated Health Clinic. She continues to help patients in all stages of their cancer journey – from screening and prevention to active treatment or maintaining a remission.
Dr. Soles also has a special interest in senior’s health and women’s health. She uses bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and non-pharmaceutical interventions to help women manage menopause and hormone imbalances. She also has experience managing chronic diseases associated with aging such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease.
As an evidence-based practitioner, Dr. Soles uses research and laboratory testing to guide her individualized care plans. She is the Research Director for the Knowledge in Naturopathic Oncology Website and a contributing author to the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide to Integrative Cancer Care.

Cancer Care
Given that 1 in 2 Canadians are expected to develop cancer in their lifetime, cancer prevention is critical to longevity and overall health. Dr. Soles works with patients to assess their risk of developing cancer and provides education on how these risks can be minimized. If a cancer diagnosis has been made, she guides patients through active treatment with the intent of maximizing response and minimizing side effects, which can ultimately improve quality of life and survival. Following treatment, Dr. Soles works with patients to optimize their health and reduce the risk of recurrence.
Senior’s Health
Dr. Soles enjoys working with elderly patients to maintain health throughout the aging process and manage chronic diseases. This includes conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cognitive decline.
Women’s Health
Women have unique health concerns that can impact their quality of life and longevity. Dr. Soles has a special interest in helping women navigate menopause and conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, and hypothyroidism through bioidentical hormone replacement, nutraceutical supplementation, and/or dietary and lifestyle changes.
