Since the release of Suzanne Somers popular books “The Sexy Years” and “Ageless” many patients at mid-life have been seeking practitioners who specialize in bio-identical hormone replacement. Our physicians are experienced doctors who have training and certification in Advanced Hormone Balancing and whose philosophy includes treatment of the whole person. Integrated Health Clinic physicians work closely with MD’s to ensure each patient’s prescription is tailored to the individual and made by a high quality, local compounding pharmacist.

Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) has received increasing attention since the results of the Women’s Health Initiative1 were announced. Their large clinical trial on hormone replacement therapy confirmed dangerous cancer and clot-inducing properties of Premarin and synthetic Progestins. When these results were publicized and became widely referenced, the use of Premarin and Progestins plummeted (and rates of cancer soon followed). Bioidentical hormones used in BHRT at Integrated Health Clinic do not include premarin and synthetic progestins. At Integrated Health Clinic we utilize the proven bioidentical hormones estradiol, estrone, estriol, progesterone and others.
